ST. MORITZ
THE RESORT
Situated in the Engadine Valley., St. Moritz has a wonderful sunny climate which is affectionately known as the "Champagne climate". Being sophisticated and fashionable, St. Moritz is also the most all-round winter sports resort in Switzerland. Here you can have a go at just about everything, from bob sledding, winter golf and curling to cross-country skiing and hiking, or seeing such events as polo horse racing and other activities. In St. Moritz, shopping, the après-ski and nightclubs are for some as important as the skiing
THE SKIING
The large well-planned lift system opens up a world of fantastic skiing, which is spread over the entire valley. Corviglia, above St. Moritz, has widely varied ski terrains for all categories of skiers. For more exciting skiing, Sils-Furtschellas and Corvatsch will take you up to 3'3oo meters on the glacier and from there you can make your way down to St. Moritz-Bad via Hahnensee. The lift system in Marguns-Celerina is also part of the Corviglia area. After just a short train ride, you can link up with the systems of Lagalb or Diavolezza.
THE APRES-SKI
When you have made the final run of the day, you will have a wide choice of where you wish to start your après-ski festivities. You might start at the Hauser's terrace and enjoy the street life, a pastry and a cup of coffee or a beer. Wherever you go, you will find that the next bar is just across the street. However, keep in mind that dinner is waiting and so are the nightclubs later on if you feel up to it.
Our opinion
The skiing is excellent, though you have to travel around the valley to get the most out of it. The entire resort radiates an atmosphere of sports, luxury and fun.

This sophisticated resort is situated amidst the sportive centre of St. Moritz and it charms its guests with an extraordinary idea came true - a Grand hotel of the savoir vivre.
HOTEL STEFFANI****
Traditional family-owned hotel at the center of St. Moritz also accommodates the "Lapin Bleu", the oldest restaurant in St. Moritz, and Chinese restaurant "Le Mandarin".

- All rooms equipped with everything the most demanding guest could wish for: bathroom, WC, TV, telephone, minibar, fax connection. All rooms are decorated in typical Engadine style, south-facing rooms also have a balcony
